Marlow has reached his target donation of £4000 for MIND, the mental health charity, but is still accepting donation at www.justgiving.com/davidmarlowkilitrek.
Marlow paid for his expenses in getting to Kilimanjaro himself. He has now completed the equivalent of the epic climb twice, having walked up and down the stair well of AFFS’s Croydon offices in training enough times to duplicate the 5,895m ascent of Kilimanjaro.
“We were very lucky because we had a fabulously clear view on our final push, which was amazing. I’m just pleased to have been able to support such a good cause,” he says.
