Aon took the prizes for Firm of the Year 2016 and Best Use of Technology at the Corporate Adviser Awards last night.
PwC walked off with the gong in the pension adviser category, with Orb Employee Benefits winning in group risk – as well as taking home the Small Firm of the Year trophy – and Arthur J Gallagher in top spet in the Healthcare Adviser of the Year category.
JLT Employee Benefits won the award for Best Strategy for Investment Advice on Pensions, while Hargreaves Lansdown was awarded Best At-Retirement Solution, at the event at The Lancaster in London hosted by comedian and writer Danny Wallace.
The Best Integrated Health and Wellbeing Solution award went to Willis PMI Group, while the Best Member Communication Strategy category was won by SHILLING, An Arthur J. Gallagher Company, and the Best Adviser Auto-Enrolment Proposition went to The Ink Group.
In the provider categories Standard Life took top spot in pensions, Canada Life Group Insurance in group risk, Vitality Health in healthcare and Health Shield in the cashplan category.
Royal London’s Governed Range won the Ultimate Default Fund category, while Nest was named Best Master Trust. The new category of Best Provider Decumulation Proposition was awarded to LV= Financial Advice Services.
