The new live webchat service service, which will be available from Monday 10 December 2018, will let employees discuss their concerns, privately and confidentially, in real time with a qualified counsellor.

The Online Counselling service is available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm via mobile phone, tablet or computer, with individuals calling outside these hours referred to Axa PPP’s EAP.

AXA PPP Healthcare mental health lead Eugene Farrell says: “Counselling works best when callers are comfortable with the way they connect with us.

“Talking to a stranger about what can be deeply sensitive and personal matters isn’t easy and we know some people prefer webchat to talking on the phone.

“So we’ve introduced Online Counselling to give them the choice – and make it easier to get in touch when they need someone to help them deal with the pressures in their lives.”
