Daniel Godfrey, the former chief executive of the Investment Association who is widely seen as having pushed a reform agenda against a broadly resistant asset management community, will be the keynote speaker at the Transparency Task Force’s Transparency Symposium on 3rd February, being held in London.

His interim replacement at the IA, Guy Sears, will also be speaking at the event.

Other speakers at the event include Dr. Anna Tilba, lecturer in strategy and corporate governance at Newcastle University Business School and Professor Michelle, professor of economics and finance at UCL, who will be revealing the key findings of their research into the true cost and value of pension schemes.

Also speaking at the event are CFA Society UK chief executive Will Goodhart, Scottish Widows head of industry development Pete Glancy and Share Action chief executive Catherine Howarth. Further speakers are expected to be announced shortly.

TTF founding chair Andy Agathangelou says: “The programme is shaping up to be something of a landmark event in the campaign for greater transparency in financial services, particularly in the workplace pensions and institutional asset management space.”
