JLT's Breedon joins Xerox for new Conduent launch

Xerox HR Services is appointing former JLT investment consulting head John Breedon to the role of head of DB client strategy within its soon-to-launch Conduent business.

Breedon has spent 25 years in the sector, and joined JLT in 2009 after stints in actuarial roles with HSBC and Mercer. He trained as an actuary with Hymans Robertson.

During his time with JLT Breedon was responsible for providing strategic advice to trustees and corporates covering asset and liability management, de-risking and flightpath planning. In his new position he will be responsible for pension scheme risk management.

Xerox is spinning its business processing administration business into a new entity that will be called Conduent. The business will be a Fortune 500 company when it launches, with formal listing due to take in New York in January 2017. The new entity’s pension business will sit under the new Conduent HR Services brand.

Xerox HR Services UK managing director David Piltz says: “I am delighted that, in John, we have attracted another individual with such clear, strong industry experience. John’s knowledge and insight will be vital as we continue to provide our clients with the support they need to fully understand their pension schemes and make the appropriate decisions.”

Xerox HR Services head of DB client strategy John Breedon: “I’m excited to be joining a company with such a deep and trusted client heritage –

especially as we move forward into our promising future as Conduent HR Services.”
