Chase de Vere is appoint Stewart Speirs and Chris Hulston as corporate advisers following the launch of its new service proposition, ‘Beyond the payslip’, in March 2016.

Speirs previously worked as an adviser at Clydesdale Bank, Bank of Scotland and Royal Bank of Scotland. He will work predominantly with employers in the West of Scotland.

Hulston has previously worked as an adviser for Coventry Building Society, Aviva and Ernest Grant Limited. He will work predominantly with employers in the Midlands.

‘Beyond the payslip’ is a service-focused corporate advice proposition which aims to help employers reduce their business risks, including absenteeism, high staff turnover and the loss of business knowledge.

Chase de Vere corporate advice manager Sean McSweeney says: “I am delighted to welcome Stewart and Chris to Chase de Vere. Both will be excellent additions to our growing corporate team, providing advice and support to employers in the West of Scotland and The Midlands respectively.

“These appointments are the first of a number we expect to make following the launch of our new service proposition in March. This proposition is aimed at the growing number of employers that are becoming more focused on the needs of their employees and on benefits which actually make a difference in helping them to recruit and retain the best people.

“As the corporate market transitions from a commission to a fee-based world, we see significant opportunities for growth for independent advisers, such as Chase de Vere, which have propositions that can add real value to employers”.
