NPT hires Aviva, Widows and Capita trio

The National Pensions Trust has made a number of appointments.

Nick Cooper has been appointed as head of proposition development, Jackie Le Vey as a client relationship manager, and Roz Watson has been hired as head of engagement.

Cooper has over 30 years of experience in proposition and marketing, having previously held senior leadership roles at Aviva, HBOS, and Zurich International. He will be in charge of NPT’s innovation and the definition and delivery of its development strategy.

In addition, Le Vey has over 30 years of pensions industry knowledge and experience, specialising in working with large pension clients with complex needs. She joins from Scottish Widows, where she worked as a senior client relationship manager for some of its most notable clients.

Finally, Watson joins NPT from Capita, where she was the Atlas Master Trust’s head of engagement. She is an expert in employee communication, financial education, and employee engagement. Watson has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, where she developed innovative, targeted communication strategies to educate, engage, and change people’s attitudes toward retirement planning.

NPT head Paul Armitage says: “The National Pension Trust’s growth is a direct result of our strong track record and reputation for quality client service, market-leading investment performance, bespoke member communication and delivery of value for our members. We were delighted to welcome Nick, Jackie and Roz to NPT and they join us at a really exciting time;. They each bring a wealth of experience and will be instrumental in helping us build on this period of significant growth.

“More and more trustees and employers are questioning whether their single-employer trust structure can deliver the governance quality and strength of proposition needed in the future and are looking to solutions like NPT as an alternative. We are proud of the excellent outcomes and value we are creating for our members.”
