Punter Southall Aspire has hired Alan Emberson and John Bissett as directors as part of the firm’s strategy to grow its workplace solutions business.
Emberson joins from Standard Life, where he was corporate relationship director, responsible for developing the firm’s relationships with HR and benefits directors across FTSE 350 companies. He was previously at Prudential where he worked on the development of the firm’s employee benefits product proposition.
Bissett’s previous role was in marketing for Lombard International and was formerly at Aegon, where he was business development director, UK private wealth management.
The appointments follow a series of other senior hires since Punter Southall Aspire launched earlier this year. Stephen Phillips joined its DC consulting business as client director and Eddie Bernatek and Richard Evans as associate directors, while Ian Aylward joined from Aviva Investors to take on the role of investment director, head of DC manager research.
Punter Southall Aspire chief executive Steve Butler says: “Alan and John both have significant life company experience which will be invaluable as we scale our workplace solutions business. Member engagement is a journey that lasts more than 20 years, and technology now plays a critical role in providing savers with effective advice and guidance when they need it.”
