ShareAction head joins Nest board

The government has made five appointments to the Nest Board, including  specialists in investment management, sustainable finance, customer experience, and risk.

The appointments were made by the minister for pensions, Emma Reynolds, and include the chief executives of Share Action and HSBC Global Asset Management. 

The five new board members are: 

Commenting on the new Board appointments, Brendan McCafferty, chair of Nest, says: “The depth and breadth of knowledge they bring, in areas from investment and risk management, sustainable finance, to consumer financial services, will support the board in navigating the complexities of today’s financial landscape with confidence and foresight.

Chris Hitchen stepped down from the Nest Board on 31 May 2024 at the end of his tenure.
