Smart appoints chief product officer

Smart has appointed Bahea Izmeqna as its chief product officer.

With an extensive career in fintech, Izmeqna will oversee technology, product and solutions, focusing particularly on the development and strategic enhancement of the company’s Keystone platform. This will involve enhancing the functionality and scalability of the platform to ensure it continues to meet the evolving needs of the pension industry.

She has had an extensive career in fintech, with experience working across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia.

Bahea joins from SC Ventures by Standard Chartered, where she served as chief strategy officer for CurrencyFair and Zai group venture. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in optimising operational efficiency, enhancing client services and driving strategic initiatives for global expansion.
