Staffcare founder Phil Hollingdale is joining the board of aggregation software provider Sammedia to help it develop its workplace proposition.
Staffcare, which is now part of the SimplyBiz Group, manages employee benefits and pensions auto-enrolment serving about 10 per cent of the UK’s workforce with over 3 million people on its platform.
Sammedia offers aggregation and portal software for advisers and wealth managers, giving multiple financial product valuation views in a consolidated format. Its moneyinfo app allows people to manage their finances and use the data to access advice on demand, removing the cost and complexity of consolidating information and producing paper. Sammedia says it wants to reinvent how employees access advice in the workplace and how advisers manage their clients in wealth management
Hollingdale says: “Sammedia’s moneyinfo provides the most compelling proposition for the workplace to help educate employees regarding their finances. It puts an employee’s benefits in context to all their other finances. The visual prompts and nudges then help employees achieve a better financial future. The market potential is huge and I am delighted to be involved with Sammedia who have put together one of the strongest technology teams in the industry to reinvent the way people can access financial advice.”
Sammedia CEO Mik Cons says: “We are delighted to have Phil on board as both a shareholder and director. There is no doubt that his wealth of experience particularly in the workplace market will add real value to our propositions particularly in workplace. I’m very much looking forward to working with Phil after many years of friendly competition.”
