Fiona Tait is leaving Royal London to join Intelligent Pensions as David Trenner retires after 40 years in the industry.
Tait leaves her pensions specialist role at Royal London to join Intelligent Pensions as technical director.
Tait has been in financial services since 1989 and has had spells with Scottish Equitable and Eagle Star. She is charged with communicating technical pension issues to financial advisers and direct clients as well as trustees and employers responsible for workplace pensions.
Trenner is stepping down after 16 years with Intelligent Pensions, prior to which he was at Scottish Life, Save & Invest and Sedgwick Group.
Intelligent Pensions MD Steve Patterson says: “David has made a positive contribution at Intelligent Pensions and we have all enjoyed working with him. We wish him the very best for his retirement and are pleased that he is now able to benefit from his own retirement advice.

Over the past 40 years, there have been very few dull days and I have continued to learn and meet some fascinating people. I now look forward to spending more time with my wife and family and keeping up with my cricket and football interests.”
