Worklife appoints new head of sales

WorkLife by OpenMoney has promoted Paul Chedzey to head of sales.

Chedzey joined WorkLife as a relationship director in April 2021, where he is responsible for the firm’s corporate adviser channel’s development and expansion. Prior to this, he worked for a number of fintech startups, including Open GI, IRESS, and Intelliflo, in senior relationship management roles.

Chedzey will be responsible for leading WorkLife’s business development activities and increasing the company’s existing network of partners and distributors in the newly formed job of head of sales. He will be working with relationship director Greg Mahon and business development executive Craig Maxfield.

Worklife managing director Niamh McLaughlin says: “The impact of Paul’s work has been felt throughout the whole business this past year, and he has played an instrumental role in bringing WorkLife’s offering to the corporate adviser community. Expanding our reach and helping more employers realise the power of WorkLife will be absolutely essential if we are to continue driving forward our mission of making financial advice and top-notch employee benefits available to every UK business – I have every confidence we will achieve this with Paul in the driving seat.”

Chedzey says: “With so many firms struggling to recruit right now, the case for investing in high-quality benefits and wellbeing package has never been clearer. WorkLife makes doing this accessible and affordable for everyone and, over the past year, it’s been refreshing to work alongside a team so genuinely passionate about helping companies do the absolute best they can for their employees. I’m honoured to be stepping into this role and cannot wait to see what the future holds.”
