Mattioli Woods appoints new employee benefits director

Mattioli Woods has appointed Sean McSweeney as its new employee benefits team director. In this newly created role McSweeney will oversee the wealth managers’ employee benefit consultants. 

McSweeney joins from Chase de Vere, where he worked as has worked since 2008, being appointed proposition development manager in 2013. 

During his time at Chase de Vere McSweeney was responsible for the design, launch and development of the company’s corporate propositions, as well as providing technical and new business support to 22 corporate consultants and a further 20-plus hybrid advisers. He also designed and launched the company auto-enrolment initiative.

Prior to this, McSweeney has held positions with Origen and Mercer, after starting his career with Royal London (then Scottish Life) in 1990.
