Aon is expanding its DC team with the appointment of Adam Hayes and Steven Leigh in response to increased demand from trustees.
The appointments follow Aon DC team’s recruitment earlier this year of Tony Britton as head of DC delegated sales and of Chris Inman as a principal investment consultant.
Leigh joins Aon as a senior DC consultant. He joins from Barclays Corporate & Employer Solutions, and has previously worked for JLT, Towers Watson, Friends Provident and Standard Life. He will work across all of the firm’s DC activity in the North of England. S
Hayes joins the team in London as a DC investment consultant, having previously worked as a senior DC investment analyst at Willis Towers Watson.
Aon Hewitt partner and head of DC consulting Sophia Singleton says: “We continue to grow our DC team – reflecting the increasing demand we are seeing for our services in this area. The heightened focus on DC pension provision is driving this growth, taking more time on trustees’ agenda and requiring more of our advice and expertise.
“This demand is countrywide – Adam Hayes joins our London team, while Steven Leigh will be based in Leeds but work with clients throughout the North. Both of them bring strong and varied experience to us at a time when the need for timely and high quality advice is being driven by everything from the government’s Freedom & Choice initiatives to the result of the EU Referendum.”
