Mobius Life has now transferred its group pension business to Scottish Friendly.
Mobius Life is an independently-owned provider of institutional services to corporate pension schemes.
This deal, which was announced in June, will affect 13,300 members of corporate pension schemes. The transfer sees assets worth £350m move to the friendly society.
The transfer was rubber-stamped by Scottish Friendly members at a Special General Meeting on November 7.
Scottish Friendly’s chief executive Jim Galbraith says: “The addition of Mobius Life business to Scottish Friendly is a tangible outcome of our strategy to diversify and grow the business for the benefit of our policyholders.”
