Smart Pension is launching a new European-wide workplace pension product, in partnership with Revolut.
The collaboration allows companies across Europe to sign up to Revolut’s business account and set up a workplace pension for UK employees, so meeting their automatic-enrolement duties.
Smart says this tech-enabled process would reduce the time and fees of setting up these UK pensions.
This announcement follows news that Revolut’s business customers with UK account details can set up direct debits to automate the payment of regular bills and expenditure, including monthly pension contributions.
Smart Pension co-founder and managing director Will Wynne says: “Revolut’s business account can now be used by employers across Europe to automatically pay into a workplace pension for their UK workers without hidden fees.
“We are excited to be opening up our tech-enabled, value-for-money workplace pensions to Revolut’s business customers.”
Those signing up before the end of April next year will also qualify for an introductory reduced fee offer.
Revolut’s head of business product Vaidas Adomauskas adds: “Our new partnership with Smart Pension makes it easy for our business customers to meet AE requirements for eligible members of their companies.
“Not only can account holders take advantage of this preferential rate from Smart Pension, but they can set up both a business account and get pensions up and running in minutes.”
