Healix Health has appointed Sharon Burgess as its new operations director as it looks at the continued expansion of its corporate healthcare trust business.
Burgess joins Healix from AXA Health where she was part of the leadership team as corporate customer service manager. Burgess has over 30 years industry experience in healthcare having also worked at Simplyhealth.
This appointment comes after a strong year for Healix which grew its business by 20 per cent in 2022. The company has made a number of appointments in the last 12 months and opened a new office in Bristol.
Healix Health CEO Ian Talbot says: “With the ongoing pressures being placed on the NHS, we are continuing to see a growing demand for corporate healthcare trusts as a means of employers helping their staff keep on top of their health, avoiding long wait times and receiving help for conditions that might not be covered by other more traditional private medical options.
