Isio has announced a series of senior appointments as the business continues to expand and diversify its services for clients.
Emily McGuire, who joined Isio from Aon last year, has been chosen to lead the esteemed Investment Advisory team at Isio and has also become a member of the Exco leadership team.
Additionally, Laura Higgins and Emma Hudson have received promotions, earning the title of partners.
Laura, who heads Isio’s Bristol office, has been in the city since the beginning of her career, starting as an intern at KPMG in 2004. While overseeing the team in Bristol, she will also spearhead Isio’s GMP Equalisation initiative.
Emma, who joined Isio’s investment advisory team from Mercer two years ago, has taken charge of the Midlands investment team. Since joining Isio, she has attracted numerous new clients and has extensive expertise in advising larger DB pension schemes, including three schemes valued at over £10bn in recent years. Emma is also actively involved in nurturing talent and development within the company.
These appointments come after Isio’s announcement of its acquisition of Deloitte’s Total Reward and Benefits business.
Isio chief executive Andrew Coles says: “Emily has an impressive track-record and has been instrumental to our investment advisory team, especially in the market uncertainty of the last six months. This appointment marks the next step in our strategy to grow the business organically, driving better opportunities for our people and clients. I am delighted to welcome Emily to our Exco to bring additional breadth, challenge and experience to our strategic thinking”
“Emma and Laura have both made a fantastic contribution to our development and the services that we offer. Both are fresh, ambitious thinkers who embody our challenger mindset, and I am thrilled to welcome them to the Partner group as we continue to extend our offering and win new clients.”
Isio partner Emma Hudson says: “My aim when I joined Isio two years ago was to advise significant clients and to be involved with winning new clients. Moving here has certainly delivered on both elements. I look forward to working with Emily and the wider Isio team to drive the continued high growth of our business.
“I will also continue to have a role in the training and development of our people; it is important to me that as we continue our rapid growth, we maintain our strong culture and develop our people.”
Isio partner Laura Higgins says: “I was KPMG Pensions’ first ever Summer Intern back in 2004 and I am proud to be here almost 20 years later and being promoted to Partner. I have worked in Bristol for my whole career but have had a wide range of client work having advised local, national, and international clients. As we continue to grow we are creating exciting career opportunities for our talented team here in Bristol and I look forward to continuing this in my role as Partner.
“I will also be leading our GMP equalisation proposition which includes a dedicated national team. I have spent the last couple of years focussing on GMPe, this has been the most intellectually challenging and interesting part of my recent career, and I look forward to further advancing our solution and leading our national team.”
