Broadstone has appointed Jason Oliver to be a senior consultant, with a specific focus on business development.
Oliver joins from Capita where he was director of business development and prior to this worked for over 30 years at Mercer across its risk and pension teams. He has worked across DC and DB sectors, with extensive experience in financial wellbeing, health, flexible benefits and risk.
During his career he has focused on improving employee experience and outcomes through education and understanding how pensions fit into wider financial wellbeing strategies, while also helping employers and trustees optimise their benefit arrangements.
Oliver will joined Broadstone’s employee benefits consulting division, led by Brett Hill (health and protection) and Damon Hopkins (DC workplace savings).
Broadstone head of health & protection Brett Hill says: “In this period of huge pressure on public health services [Oliver’s] expertise in the risk and wellbeing markets will be invaluable for our clients.”
Broadstone’s head of DC workplace savings Damon Hopkins adds: “[Oliver’s] strong track record of business development in the employee benefits sector will be hugely valuable to us at a time of significant growth.”
