Canada Life UK has appointed Rebecca Gladstone to the newly created role of head of public policy.
Gladstone was the stakeholder and public affairs manager at the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) before joining Canada Life UK.
Prior to this, Gladstone was a director in the strategic communications practise of the multinational business consulting firm FTI Consulting, serving as a financial services expert.
Gladstone started her insurance career in the public affairs team of the group of British Insurers (ABI), which is the trade group for the UK’s long-term savings and insurance industries. She has also had a variety of positions in public policy for the health and automotive industries.
