Aon has promoted Chris Simmons to be its head of health solutions for the UK.
In this role Simmons will report to Aon’s UK chief executive Jane Kielty, and Lisa Patel, head of health and talent for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Aon.
Simmons has worked for almost three decades in the health industry, predominantly in various leadership positions in Aon. He has been instrumental in building strategic partnerships for the firm, and in his new role will focus on bringing more of Aon’s health capabilities to its clients across the UK.
Aon UK CEO Jane Kielty says: “[Simmons] has considerable experience and insight across the health sector. He has fostered strong relationships with clients, and successfully guided them through various economic environments. Chris’ background and dynamic approach to leadership will help lead Aon’s Health Solutions business in the UK to ongoing success.”
