Healix Health has appointed former Axa head of global distribution Luke Harding as commercial director.

Harding, who has almost 20 years of experience in employee benefits and corporate healthcare, comes to Healix Health from Axa Global Healthcare, where he established corporate distribution throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Prior to Axa, Harding was at Mercer where he was a senior associate.

Harding will create broker strategies, increase distribution channels, and propel direct and broker market growth at Healix to improve healthcare services and bolster client portfolio

Healix Health has had a 140 per cent increase in revenue since 2020, and this hire is part of a larger expansion through recent partnerships, including Check4Cancer, which provides speedier access to cancer treatment, and Syrona, which offers virtual consultations on topics like menopause and fertility.

Harding says: “The opportunity ahead for Healix is massive. From the very outset, my conversations with senior stakeholders revealed exceptional levels of clinical expertise to support businesses.

“The corporate healthcare trust model is vital for employers looking to provide personalised wellbeing support to employees to retain and recruit talent. I’m hugely excited to be part of the journey of supporting businesses to expand their healthcare provision.”

Healix Health CEO Ian Talbot says: “We are thrilled to welcome Luke to the team, who brings a wealth of experience in the sector. The employee benefits market is only set to grow and expand as people increasingly look to their employers to plug the gaps in existing healthcare provision. Luke will be integral for the next stage of growth for Healix.”
