Axa Global Healthcare will launch a new modular product aimed at the SMEs with an international workforce.
The product, Global Health Adapt, will be available from January next year and is designed to offer comprehensive healthcare cover, that can be customised to meet the needs of SMEs as the scale upwards and expand their workforce, potentially in different locations.
This product offers a healthcare payment card designed to simplify the claims and payment process. When clients choose the outpatient module, their employees can pay for eligible outpatient treatment using the healthcare payment card with just a tap of their mobile device, reducing the need to use their own funds and complete claims form. This card does not have to be pre-loaded or pre-authorised.
The product also offers a new all-in-one app, enabling employees to manage their policies. This also offers personalised wellness features, and medical support through services such as Virtual Care.
Axa – Global Healthcare CEO Xavier Lestrade says: “In today’s increasingly global economy, running a SME presents unique challenges, especially when it comes to managing a dispersed workforce.
“From navigating tight budgets and manoeuvring an unpredictable market to seizing new opportunities and scaling up, business owners are constantly balancing local operations while keeping their international employees’ wellbeing top of mind.”
He says that while the IPMI industry has previously lagged behind in product innovation, this solution has been designed to adapt to the evolving needs of SMEs.
Axa says it is using its leverage as a major global insurer to grow its International Heath (IPMI) business over the next 5 years and said the SME market is a core part of its future growth.
