Aviva names new workplace business development head

Aviva has appointed Saffron Lovell as head of business development for workplace pensions within its insurance, wealth, and retirement business.

Lovell joins the senior leadership team and reports to workplace commercial director Simon Ellis after serving as a business development director for workplace pensions.

Lovell has been a member of Aviva’s business development team since 2018.

Lovell says: “I’m thrilled to be given the privilege of leading our outstanding business development team as we continue to build on our success in the workplace pensions market. I’m looking forward to the new opportunities this role will bring, working with our expert people and innovative propositions.” 

Ellis says: “I’m delighted to have Saffron join my workplace pensions senior leadership team. She brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and professionalism, which will undoubtedly take us further in supporting our clients and customers.”
