Perkbox Vivup has rebranded as ‘Perkbox’ and launched a unified employee experience platform, following its 2024 merger with Vivup.

The new platform combines the capabilities of both organisations under a single brand, offering a consolidated system for managing employee benefits, wellbeing, recognition, perks and administration.

Perkbox CEO Doug Butler says: “It’s been about 14 to 15 months since we put the businesses together. We’ve spent that time pulling the business together internally while also focusing on the product for clients and their people.

“We always had a vision to bring the products together into a single platform. That was always the expectation and the technology didn’t tell us otherwise.”

The platform allows HR teams to manage multiple benefits in one place, while employees can access a range of offerings, including salary sacrifice benefits, wellbeing support, discounts, and reward tools, all within a single app.

Butler adds: “Clients and their people are now going to get the most robust of both worlds, best-in-class employee discounts and recognition products from Perkbox, along with the best employee benefits solutions that were previously done through Vivup.

“The most important thing is having the platform used. We’re putting as many important things on there as possible so HR teams can consolidate multiple solutions into a single platform.

“I talk a lot about ‘used and useful.’ Employees should see the things they use, plus a more robust recognition tool and employee discounts, all in one place.”

The merger also incorporates services from Let’s Connect and TERC, providing technology-based salary sacrifice benefits and employee counselling services. Recent enhancements include 11 salary sacrifice benefits, improved automation and personalisation, a cashback scheme, and upgraded recognition tools.

Butler says: “With one unified platform, we can add more features, either organically or through acquisition, aligned to what our clients need right now.

“It’s exciting to get this part behind us so we can continue innovating and improving all the things our clients and employees will have access to.

“Everything we’re trying to do is meant to advance our mission: to make every employee feel valued and give employers the tools to do that effectively. This isn’t just a brand change or a tech upgrade, it’s about creating solutions that matter to employees and clients alike.”

Perkbox chief product officer Ankur Sharma says: “This launch is just the start. We are listening closely to our clients and using their feedback to shape what comes next. Our focus is on continuous innovation. We are bringing new capabilities and smarter experiences to the platform so that it keeps evolving to meet the changing needs of organisations and their people.”
