Pensions UK has appointed Philip Brown as its new head of DC and master trusts, joining Nest, where he was director of policy.

He has over 30 years of experience in financial services, with most of his career focused on pensions and retirement income products. Prior to joining Nest, he was director of policy and external affairs at the People’s Pension.

He has also worked as an independent consultant, as head of policy at LV= and as a senior policy associate on high-level projects at the Financial Services Authority.

He has been active in several industry trade bodies, including the Association of British Insurers, the Investment and Life Assurance Group and the Pension Income Choices Association.
