Scottish Widows has appointed Dena Brumpton to its board as a non‑executive director.
Brumpton was previously CEO of Barclays Savings, Investments & Wealth Management (UK) and has also previously held a number of senior positions at Citigroup, where she worked for 30 years.
In her careers she has worked across the corporate, investment and private banking sectors in a range of roles that span strategy, customer experience, digital business, sales, marketing and operational management.
She has over five years’ experience as a non‑executive director and currently serves on the boards of Bupa Insurance and Stonehage Fleming Family Partners.
Chris Moulder, interim chair of the Scottish Widows Group Board, says: “[Brumpton] brings hands‑on experience across wealth and private banking, risk and control, and customer‑led digital transformation.
“Her combination of strategic insight and strong governance credentials will be a real asset as we continue to deliver for customers and navigate a fast‑evolving regulatory environment.”
