Law Debenture has appointed Natalie Winterfrost as its new head of pensions, as part of a series of leadership appointments aimed at expanding the business.
Winterfrost is a well know industry figure within the trustee sector, and has previously chaired the CFA Society UK. She has previously worked at Law Debenture, and in this new role will oversee people leadership and service excellence for the company. It will be a two year tenure.
This is part of a wider series of appointments and promotions at the professional services firm as pursue “ambitious” growth plans. Sankar Mahalingham will move into the newly created role of head of pensions growth with a view to expanding this side of the business.
Jane Beverly will also transition from her current role as head of trusteeship to senior director. In this new role she will primarily focus on client work and technical excellence.
The new leadership team will be supported by the recently expanded pensions management group, including new pensions HR business partner Lily Lovegrove and operations partner Natalie Cannon.
Both WInterfrost and Mahalingham will report directly to Denis Jackson, CEO, while Beverly will work closely with Winterfrost over the coming months to ensure a seamless leadership transition.
Law Debenture says this changes follow a successful two-year period of consolidation, and signal a shift towards a period of ambitious growth.
There has been significant growth in the number of trustee and professional service appointments by pension schemes in recent years, although latest figure indicate this may rapid expansion may be slowing.
These changes also come amid consolidation across the wider pensions industry and a new regulations for the trustee sector aimed at driving up standards.
