TPT Retirement Solutions has appointed Steve Collins as its new head of superfund.

Collins brings more than two decades of experience, having held a variety of roles across actuarial consulting, covenant and trusteeship. He has held several senior positions at leading global firms, such as KPMG UK, Isio, Cardano and Aon, most recently serving as a senior actuary at KPMG UK.

Collins will report into TPT commercial director Nicholas Clapp and will be responsible for building out the pipeline of future transactions and working closely with the team to evolve and develop the proposition.

The appointment comes as TPT aims to launch the UK’s first TPR-assessed superfund designed to run on.

TPT Retirement Solutions commercial director Nicholas Clapp says: “We’re delighted to welcome Steve at a pivotal moment as we prepare to launch the UK’s first run-on superfund later this year. His extensive experience will be instrumental in creating a pipeline of opportunities and driving the superfund’s success.”

TPT head of superfund Steve Collins says: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining TPT. TPT are exceptionally well placed to support superfund transactions. We offer established capabilities, remarkable scale, an 80-year track record of delivering pensions and an unwavering focus on members. I’m looking forward to supporting trustees, companies and advisors as we work together to deliver secure and valuable pensions for members.”
