Preventative screenings and return to work providers join Maxis

Klarity and Workplace Options have joined the Maxis Global Benefits wellness technology marketplace, adding to the services available to multinational employers.

Klarity provides preventive health screenings and early detection programmes. It offers blood testing and health assessments delivered onsite both at home or in clinical settings.

Its reporting provides employees with information intended to support ongoing health management and awareness of potential health risks. Its services include general health assessments, preventive screenings to identify early indicators of certain conditions and cancer screening programmes covering a range of common cancers.

Workplace Options, which is part of TELUS Health, provides return-to-work services to support employees following a period of absence. Its services include Cancer Care Compass for employees returning after a cancer diagnosis, a return-to-work programme for parents and rehabilitation support designed to assist employees returning after extended sick leave.

Klarity CEO Will Cooper says: “Screenings are crucial for employees to ensure that any underlying conditions they have are caught early before they become debilitating or even deadly. At Klarity, we work with employers who want to prioritise early detection, so they can help enable their employees to take control of their own health.”

Maxis chief health & wellness officer Dr Leena Johns says: “It’s no secret that when it comes to healthcare, prevention is crucial for improving health outcomes and managing medical costs. Yet often, screenings aren’t covered as part of a standard EB programme or can be difficult to access. I’m delighted that our multinational clients can now work with Klarity to provide valuable early detection solutions to their people, no matter where they live and work.
