Aon appoints UK investment head of transitions

Aon has appointed Jenny Wiles to be the UK investment head of transitions within its investment team.

Wiles joins from Willis Towers Watson, where the transition and onboarding projects for pension schemes and institutional investors across multiple asset classes. She has over 15 years experience in the sector, working across investment operations, trade management and pension transitions.

In her new role she will lead Aon’s UK transitions capability, setting strategic direction and overseeing the delivery of complex transitions, including buy‑in and buy‑out related activity. 

This will involve working closely with clients and internal investment teams to support high‑quality, well‑controlled outcomes at key points in the investment lifecycle.

Aon partner Steve Garner, says: “[Wiles] brings specialist expertise in transitions and investment operations, along with a strong track record of delivering complex projects under pressure. 

“As managing transition risk at critical moments remains a key focus for institutional investors, this capability is more important than ever. Her experience and leadership will further enhance our UK transitions capability.”
