Toothfairy has received regulatory approval from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to conduct on-site dental examinations and workplace visits across the UK.
The approval allows Toothfairy’s clinical team to deliver oral health screenings, consultations and assessments directly at employer sites, giving employees access to dental checks without leaving work.
Employees will receive personalised oral health reports, AI-supported diagnostics and recommended treatment pathways following assessments.
The move comes as growing evidence links poor oral health and untreated gum disease to wider health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes and dementia, raising concerns around productivity, absence and long-term workforce health.
Toothfairy said workplace dental programmes offer employers a preventative wellbeing tool that can be integrated into existing employee benefits and health strategies.
The provider is now open to interest from employers, HR teams and benefits managers looking to introduce workplace dental screening programmes.
Tooth Fairy Healthcare founder Dr. Deepak Aulak says: “The dental crisis is not going to be solved by waiting for more NHS appointments. People are in pain, they are worried, and they simply cannot get seen. We have the technology, we have the clinical expertise, and we now have approval to go directly to where people spend most of their week: the workplace. For employers, this is one of the most tangible health benefits they can offer their teams. For employees, it could be the first professional dental assessment they have had in years.”
