Westfield Health revenue rises 7pc to £105m

Westfield Health has surpassed revenue of £100m for the first time in its 106-year history, up 7 per cent.

Additionally, the provider now has 590,000 policyholders, up 25 per cent since 2022, as employers continue to invest in workplace health and insurance benefits.

Its insurance business made £80.8m in premiums, up almost 5 per cent, while income from its wellbeing business rose 17 per cent to £23.7m and gross profit increased by more than a quarter.

Meanwhile, group revenue is now more than 80 per cent higher than in 2018, when it was £57m.

The results follow the April 2026 launch of Evolve, a digital health cash plan platform that allows employers to combine health cash plans and private health insurance in a single proposition.

The platform provides employers with live claims and usage data, while brokers can build, price and manage personalised health benefit packages digitally.

Westfield Health chief executive Dave Capper says: “Passing £100m is an important milestone, but the more important story is what that growth allows us to do for the employers and people we support.

“Workplace health is changing. Employers are looking for benefits that are easier to access, more personalised and that can demonstrate real value to their people. At the same time, HR and benefits teams need better information to understand how those benefits are being used and where they are making a difference.

“That is why we’ve invested heavily in the systems, platforms and capabilities behind our insurance business. Evolve is a major part of that investment, bringing together everyday healthcare and private health insurance while giving employers greater flexibility and visibility.

“We’re building a business that can support employers and their people not just today, but over the next ten years and beyond.”
