Designed in conjunction with Technical Connections, the service is designed to allow scheme members with death in service benefits to maximise estate planning opportunities cost-effectively.
Lift-Financial is currently offering the service to one scheme it advises, but will be rolling it out to other clients in the coming months.
Joel Adams, chief executive of Lift-Financial says: “We recognise that people with death in service benefits should have a spousal bypass trust if they and their spouse’s assets are approaching the combined nil rate band. This is belt and braces planning, and comes with a helpline if they get stuck.
“This service is unique, as far as we are aware, in the bespoke way we are offering it.”
