Avis joins Canada Life Group Insurance as sales and marketing director

Avis will take the newly created role in November and will report to Ian McMullan, managing director.
At Ceridian Avis was responsible for developing the LifeWorks EAP service. He has previously held a number of positions within the group risk market, including a period at Employ-Mend, where he was responsible for designing the Absencia Absence Management proposition offered by Canada Life.
At Canada Life, Avis will be responsible for overseeing the current marketing and distribution functions.
McMullan says: “We intend to continue to develop our proposition to provide the best service to intermediaries and their clients.”
