Chrystal joins head of employee benefits Billy Johnson and Chris Large in focusing on building on Oval’s existing presence in this sector, with particular attention to smaller schemes.
Johnson says: “Although Simon has experience of working for some of the largest schemes in the UK, such as the Teachers Pension Scheme, the Motor Industry Pension Plan and The Pensions Trust, it was his specialist knowledge in working with smaller and closed schemes that made him a particularly important appointment.” nChrystal says: “We are ambitious to expand the service into the centralised scheme market but in a member-focussed way.”
