Enhanced benefits include wider cover for organ transplants, chronic conditions, cancer treatment, maternity and dental care.
The 2009 Global Health Elite plans also introduce a new well-child benefit for Platinum plan holders which provides cover for routine vaccinations and developmental check-ups.
William Russell is continuing to offer its lower cost Global Health Essential range for expatriates who want cover for all the essential healthcare costs, but keep their premiums to a minimum by excluding cover for extras such as alternative medicine, psychiatric care and maternity care.
The provider has held the premium increase for the majority of its Global Health moratorium plans to 5 per cent in 2009 with discounts of up to 3 per cent available for fully medical underwritten plans.
James Cooper, sales director at William Russell says: “International private medical insurance provides indispensable protection for expatriates and we aim to continuously improve our benefits for members. Our plans range from the Elite Platinum plan which provides the widest international cover possible with highvalue benefit for maternity care, routine and complex dental treatment, and regular preventive health screening, to the lower cost
cover offered by our Essential plan range for expats who want to manage their expenditure in these more difficult economic times.”
