Aegon UK has appointed Antonia Balaam to the newly-created role of director of DC clients.
In this role, she will head the client director team which is responsible for leading the relationships with larger employers.
Balaam is a qualified actuary, with around 25 years’ experience in the pensions industry. She joined Aegon in 2019 as part of the client director team, supporting the development of new business and building on existing client relationships.
Aegon says this new role underlines its commitment to the DC workplace savings market. Its current focus is on enhancing the digital experience and propositions, including wider workplace savings. To support this Aegon recently acquired of engagement specialists Pension Geeks.
Balaam will report into Nick Roy, director of client & partnership development at Aegon.
