The provider says SmartEnrol, which has been developed with Logica, is available to its new and existing group schemes at no additional cost.
Richard Dallas, group marketing director Aegon UK, says: “Our pension proposition is built around four key areas, SmartEnrol, service, employee communications and the investment fund approach and I’m delighted to see the first part of that proposition getting off to a flying start.
“Employers need to manage the opt in, opt out and joining instructions from their employees. These changes bring a new set of reporting requirements to the Pensions Regulator and employers will face fines for non-compliance. We’ve designed SmartEnrol to make it easier for employers to meet their obligations under pensions reform.
“Our first schemes stage this month and I’m delighted to say that we’re ready to support them through this using SmartEnrol.”
