Aon has appointed Paul Macro to its Master Trust board, replacing Jonathan Reynolds, who is stepping down after six years.
Macro has 35 years of experience in defined contribution (DC) and master trust and has led teams at major consulting firms such as Mercer and Tower Watson.
He has also managed his own business and worked as an independent trustee and adviser for different types of DC pension schemes.
Current members of The Aon Master Trust board are the chair, Kim Nash of Zedra Governance, Jenny Davidson of BESTrustees and Keith Scott of Law Debenture Pension Trustees.
Aon head of DC solutions for EMEA Tony Pugh says: “Jonathan Reynolds made a considerable contribution to The Aon MasterTrust during an important period in its growth and we are very grateful for the role he played.
“We are also very pleased that Paul Macro is joining the Trustee Board – he has huge experience in the field of DC. We are confident that he will bring both wide client and member understanding and new perspectives to the ongoing governance and development of The Aon MasterTrust – all to the benefit of its members.”
