Aviva has appointed Louise Williamson to be head of its master trust with immediate effect.
Williamson was previously head of governance for Smart Pension and has also worked for LifeSight, the master trust run by Willis Towers Watson.
Aviva has also promoted Geoff Marchment to the new role of head of master trust development. He was previously business development director with Aviva’s workplace pensions business and in this new position will be focused on building relationships within the market.
Both Williamson and Marchment will report into Emma Douglas, Aviva’s director of workplace savings and retirement.
Douglas welcomed both appointments and says Williamson will bring extensive master trust experience to a strategically important part of Aviva’s business.
In addition to these appointments Aviva has also made some changes to its master trust board.
