Aviva is freezing senior executive pay increases and bonuses as it prioritises dividends to ordinary shareholders.
The provider says executive directors and the Aviva leadership team will not receive bonuses for 2020 until dividend payments are restarted for ordinary shareholders.
Basic pay increases for executive directors and the Aviva leadership team that are due to come in from 1st April will also be paused until shareholder dividend payments are restarted.
