Aviva has launched a new quote platform for its group protection business.
Aviva Fusion replaces the Aviva Group Protection Online (AGPOL) platform and is aimed at corporate advisers placing business for SMEs.
The insurer says this has been developed following feedback from advisers, and is designed to offer a faster and more efficient system for schemes with 3 to 250 lives covered.
The platform offers instant real-time quotes, improved data uploads, full integration with Companies House systems to help advisers verify clients and pre-populate information, and the ability to quote for limited liability partnerships.
Aviva says this means advisers will no longer have to upload data via challenging CSV files, with the new system also offering more intuitive navigation alongside real-time tips and guidance.
In addition to new business quoting, Aviva Fusion also supports advisers in the management of the full policy lifecycle, accessible by a single log-on. This will support self-service renewals, scheme history reports and rate reviews.
Aviva group risk distribution director Jason Ellis says: “This is a significant investment in our new business journey for advisers, and their feedback has been invaluable in helping us understand what they really value and need.
“Ultimately, Aviva Fusion will greatly reduce the administrative burden on advisers so that they will have more time to support their clients.”
The launch of Aviva Fusion follows enhancements made to existing business policy management journeys on the Aviva Group Protection Online (AGPOL) platform earlier this year. These improved existing policy management features will also be accessible through the new Aviva Fusion platform.
