Aviva has launched a new wellbeing seminar programme to help employers better understand and support the health and financial wellbeing needs of their workforce.

The programme, available free to Aviva workplace pension clients, provides access to wellbeing specialists who offer practical guidance on topics including mental health, neurodiversity and physical wellbeing.

The online sessions are designed to improve employers’ knowledge and confidence in providing effective workplace wellbeing support.

Employees can also access a separate programme of webinars and guidance covering topics such as stress and resilience, work-life balance and musculoskeletal health.

The programme brings together expertise from Aviva’s Health and Protection businesses as part of its wider approach to workplace wellbeing.

The launch follows Aviva’s introduction of a financial wellbeing tool for workplace pension members in March. The tool helps employees understand and manage their financial health, while giving employers and trustees insights into engagement so they can tailor support to their workforce.

Aviva head of pension engagement Laura Stewart‑Smith says: “Employers increasingly recognise the link between wellbeing, engagement and long‑term performance, but many might not feel fully equipped to support their people in a meaningful way. This programme is about building confidence and capability – giving employers practical, expert insight, while also empowering employees to better understand and manage their own wellbeing.

“By taking a more joined‑up approach, we want to help employers create environments where people feel supported and thrive over the long term. That support plays an important role in helping people feel more confident about planning ahead and engaging with long‑term decisions such as pension saving.”
