Aviva Master Trust has appointed Elizabeth Renshaw-Ames as its new chair of the board of trustees.
The previous chair, Colin Richardson, will remain as a trustee. Aviva also announced is has also appointed Tilly Ross to the trustee board.
Renshaw-Ames is a former trustee chief executive of the HSBC UK pension scheme and is the current chair of the management board of Barnett Waddingham LLP. She has also been a senior partner at at Mercer.
Ross was a non-executive director (NED) of the Pensions Regulator until the end of April 2020. She is the independent chair of Electricity Pensions Ltd and has also previously been been an NED of The Pensions Advisory Service as well as global head of pensions at National Grid.
Aviva managing director, workplace savings & retirement Colin Williams says: “I am delighted to announce that Elizabeth will be leading the trustee board for the Aviva Master Trust.
