AXA Health has appointed Dr Ali Hasan as commercial director who will take on this new role before the end of February 2025, subject to regulatory approval.
He joins from Vitality, where he served as chief commercial director since 2015. Ali has more than 15 years of experience in operational, executive, and non-executive positions. He trained in and practised medicine in London teaching hospitals, and he also worked for McKinsey & Company and Bupa.
He succeeds Fergus Craig, who will retire in May 2025 following a 30-year career at AXA Health.
