AXA – Global Healthcare is expanding into wellbeing with a new app that integrates healthcare, insurance, virtual care, and personalised features to help members manage both their physical and mental health in one place.
The app offers users unlimited, round-the-clock access to over 450 qualified doctors via phone or video chat, up to six sessions with a psychologist through the Mind Health service, and an independent second medical opinion from over 50,000 global medical experts.
In addition to fitness progress tracking, nutrition, and wearable device synchronisation, the app provides tools for setting and monitoring fitness, weight, and mental health objectives. Additionally, it offers wellness content that supports mental health, enhances sleep quality, and lowers stress.
The app offers tools to authorise treatments, submit invoices, and handle claims in addition to access to a global network of over 1.9 million providers that can be searched by region, speciality, or medical condition. Users can view policy limits, coverage, and key documents like digital membership cards and policy handbooks while receiving real-time assistance via Live Chat or secure messaging.
Members will be able to access Insurance and Virtual Care services from their PCs thanks to an improved desktop portal that supports the app. “Healthcare without borders” is the main theme of the new software, which provides tools to assist users in navigating and obtaining healthcare around the world.
It is currently available in English and French, with additional languages scheduled for release in 2025. The service is accessible in more than 20 languages and is covered by the policy. The app, which will be made available to a select group of clients in December 2024, will be gradually released throughout 2025.
