Barnett Waddingham has expanded its Scottish footprint by opening an office in Edinburgh. This comes after the firm opened an office in Glasgow earlier this year.

These moves are part of BW’s wider UK growth plans, following its acquisition by Howden. In total the pension consultancy firm now has 11 UK bases across the country’s financial centres.

The new Edinburgh office will be centrally located in the city in Lochrin Square.

Barnett Waddingham senior partner Andrew Vaughan says: “Edinburgh is one of the UK’s leading financial centres, with a thriving community of insurers, asset managers, and fintech firms alongside some of the country’s best actuarial and financial services talent, so we were keen to amplify our presence here as part of our ambitious growth plans.”

Andrew Simpson, partner and Edinburgh office lead at Barnett Waddingham adds: “We are excited to open our 11th office here, in a move that strengthens our ability to deliver tailored advice and practical solutions to clients.

“We’re looking forward to deepening our engagement with clients and colleagues across the region and contributing to Edinburgh’s professional community.”
