Benefiz partners with Verdn to offer ‘green’ rewards through benefits platform

Employee benefits consultant Benefiz has partnered with green technology company Verdn  to encourage more sustainable employee behaviour within client organisations.

As a result of this partnership Benefiz is integrating sustainability into its benefits platform, allowing companies to align their workforce’s behaviour with their ESG and sustainability goals.

Using Verdn’s technology Benefiz’s clients will now be able to reward employees who engage in sustainable activities such as cycling to work or opting for paperless processes.

These activities are tracked, and employees receive a personalised statement from Verdn, showing the tangible impact of their choices on environmental projects around the world. Employers also benefit from a dashboard that tracks the collective impact of their workforce, offering insight into their organisation’s overall contribution to sustainability.

Benefiz says this partnership recognises the fact that sustainability is no longer a separate initiative, but a core component of any well-rounded employee rewards strategy.

It is the latest of a number of employee benefit and advisory firms to have partnered with  Verdn.

Benefiz CEO and founder Tim Gillingham says: “We all have a part to play in ensuring our planet can support future generations.

“This simple concept is a fantastic way for organisations to align employee behaviour and engagement with their sustainability journey and goals. Even small actions can drive significant change. Since becoming B Corp certified, I am thrilled that we can continue our sustainability journey by working with Verdn to offer our clients green pledges that reward environmentally conscious behaviour.”

Verdn CEO & co-founder Christopher Mjelde adds: “At Verdn we believe that sustainability can and should be effortless, and we’re thrilled to have partners like Benefiz that share in that belief.”
